Laura de Amorim, professionally known as Larimar, is a vibrant and innovative musician whose unique blend of Brazilian heritage, and influences from Hawaii and Atlanta creates a mesmerizing fusion of psychedelic R&B music. Larimar is known for her soulful vocals and captivating performances, producing a refreshing and original sound.

Born and raised in Atlanta from Brazilian parents, Larimar’s journey into music started at a young age, surrounded by the rich cultural rhythms of bossa nova and samba. Moving to Hawaii further expanded her musical horizons, infusing her work with the laid-back, tropical influences of the islands. Larimar combines the soulful depth of R&B with the experimental edge of psychedelic sounds. Her lyrics often explore themes of love, self-empowerment, and finding inner strength.

Larimar attended the Atlanta Institute of Music & Media where she learned technical skills that made her an agile and adaptable musician.
